Palm Lifedrive
From IrohWiki
I have a lifedrive and I hardly use it, so to get some bit of fun and maybe additional use out of it, I would like to put something open source on it as the operating system. This page describes my notes in completing this goal.
Current conclusions:
Most discussion is at least a year old, if not from 2005. I've found evidence that hackndev's release supports most of the features on the LifeDrive, but I'm not sure, and the last release was from 2006. Everything about the lifedrive is old, and finding new news and up to date information is difficult.

Open Embedded Distributions
- Ångström - First release was recent (12/2007) and they claim a minimum of yearly releases. Looks very new and not really ready.
- OpenMoko - Intended for cell phones and specifically the Neo 1973 and Neo Freerunner cell phones.
- Poky - Looks like it's for advanced users or developers, but I can't seem to figure it out.
- NSLU2-linux - Intended for use on routers, specifically the Linux NSLU2
